Edith Bereza

Edith Bereza is the ThriveOB practice administrator. With over 25 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Edith has experience in all aspects of the medical field, including management, team building, professional development and company growth. Edith prides herself in her communication skills and collaborates with staff and patients to ensure all needs are being met.

When she’s not passionately working at ThriveOB, Edith finds joy in nurturing the loving bond with her husband of 20 years and their two young adult sons. Together, they create meaningful moments and embrace life’s adventures, all while being accompanied by Duke, their spirited German Shepherd. Eliza Vega-Castro

Eliza Vega-Castro is our Billing Manager. She is bilingual, proficient in both English and Spanish. She has been in the medical field for over twenty- five years, working her way up from a Medical Assistant. Prior to being a Billing Manager, Eliza was an Office Manager, which has provided her knowledge and training to ensure success in navigating the difficulties and technicalities of being a Billing Manager. Eliza is responsible for billing and appealing insurance and patient claims. Eliza is inspired daily by her husband and their three children. In her free time, Eliza likes to spend quality time with her children and grandchildren, read books, and cook.

Maureen Pullen

Maureen Pullen, BS, ARDMS has been a board certified OB/GYN ultrasound specialist since 1991. Her background includes many years of Maternal Fetal Medicine, 20 years as a Clinical Site Instructor for Ultrasound students and assisting in many ultrasound studies and texts books.

She enjoys the dynamic environment of thrive OB where she can utilize her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB and Gyne ultrasound skills to help insure quality patient care. She specializes in routine and High Risk OB/GYN diagnostic ultrasound exams including Nuchal translucency‘s Studies, Fetal Doppler studies, Anatomy scans, and 3D/4D ultrasound exams.

She enjoys working as a partner with the doctor and specialist to provide the best diagnostic compassionate care.

Ashley Nord ,RDMS

Ashley has been a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer since 2008, bringing over 15 years of expertise to our practice. Her areas of specialization include Obstetrics and Gynecology, High Risk Obstetrics, and Fetal Echocardiography, where she uses advanced imaging techniques to provide critical insights into maternal and fetal health. Ashley maintains her annual certification with the Fetal Medicine Foundation for the 1st trimester Nuchal Translucency scan, demonstrating her commitment to staying updated on the latest standards in the field.

What truly drives Ashley is her passion for delivering compassionate, personalized care to each of her patients. She understands the importance of her role in their health journeys and finds immense joy in supporting families during such significant moments in their lives.

Outside of her professional life, Ashley enjoys soaking up the beauty of nature. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s tending to her garden or enjoying an invigorating workout. On sunny days, you can often find her boating or paddle boarding along the serene Fox River, soaking in the fresh air and stunning scenery. Above all, Ashley treasures her time with her husband, their two children, and their lively two dogs, creating cherished memories together.
